During the first half of 2015, our company made a production documentation of fields 1, 2, 6 and 7 of a railway bridge over the Elbe river on the Lovosice – Litomerice route, for our customer OK Trebestovice a.s.
Due to poor structural and technical condition of the existing riveted bridge construction, for which there is currently reduced speed to 30 km/h, it was decided about its reconstruction. This should bring an increase of train speed up to 90 km/h and thereby bring passengers on this regional route considerable time savings together with increase of travelling culture. The reconstruction should take place during the planned closure at the end of 2015.

The reconstruction itself will be done by replacing the existing steel bridge structures with new ones. The new bridge structures are designed as full-length welded with main girders and bottom orthotropic deck. From the structural point of view, there are two continuous constructions of two fields. Span of the constructions is 27, 17 + 27, 07 m. The existing bridge piers and abutments are going to be repaired as well.
Our company processed production documentation of 1st, 2nd, 6th and 7th field of bearing structure of the bridge. 3D model of the bridge structure was made in CAD, Autodesk Inventor, manufacturing and assembly drawings - welding plans including - were derived from this model.
